CPR Classic is proud to make available this lovely 1964 356C painted in its factory-correct Irish Green (6406) over tan vinyl interior with houndstooth inserts.

The car was originally delivered to Gus Mozart Porsche Volkswagen in Palo Alto, California and sold to a professor at Stanford University. It remained with the original owner for 17 years before being sold to its second owner, another Palo Alto resident who retained the car for another 11 years. In 1992, the car was purchased by its third owner, a Kansas resident who fully restored the car after its acquisition. The car remained with this gentleman and lived in his climate-controlled garage for the next 26 years being driven sparingly when weather permitted. It was from this fastidious and enthusiastic owner that CPR acquired this 356.

The car is a completely-numbers-matching example that retains all documents since new. This C also retains its original service manual, owners manual and complete original tool kit. The Irish Green paint has held up uncommonly well since restoration thanks to the owner's care. CPR completed a minor color-sand and polish to increase the quality and depth of the paint and it shows beautifully. The interior is in outstanding condition with a beautiful headliner, properly padded and covered seats, well-kept door panels, perfect German square weave carpet, and period-correct cocoa mats. All of the car's chrome and brightwork is in phenomenal condition, again attesting to its careful conservation.

The cars undercarriage is in superb condition with undamaged floors and absolutely no rust. This Porsche 356C is a consummate example of a car that has been lovingly cared-for its entire life with no expense spared to keep the car in peak running and cosmetic condition. Its a stunning example in every regard, and an ideal car to drive and enjoy. While the car was restored 26 years ago, its condition belies its age and we consider it to be a sorted and very-high-quality driver that is capable of being driven to, and shown well at, any 356 event.
