912

CPR Classic presents this rare 1966 Porsche 912 Electric Sunroof Coupe in Gulf Blue over a Black interior. This stunning example is fully sorted both cosmetically and mechanically and has been a garaged California car for the majority of its life.

Prominent features of this car consist of a factory-installed electric sunroof, solid metal with excellent floors at the core, followed by its numbers-matching engine and transmission.

The beautifully kept Black interior features a factory-installed electric sunroof. This rare option on the early 912s was so expensive that for the extra list price difference you could buy a 1966 Porsche 911, which is why so few factory electric-sunroof 912 models are in existence.

The exterior shows phenomenally and is covered in one of two Gulf Blue colors (paint code 6603). This darker shade of Gulf Blue was found on various 912s and 911s in 1965-1967 which is not to be confused with a lighter Gulf Blue color that was featured on later models such as the 1973 911RS. The darker Gulf Blue seen on this 912 replicates the color of the ocean, while the lighter Gulf Blue is a representation of the oil company, along with Gulf Orange.

Mechanically this 912 runs and drives superbly. Upon its arrival to CPR Classic, it received an extensive inspection followed by a cosmetic and mechanical refresh to ensure that every feature of this 912 remained in turn-key, fully sorted condition.
