997 Carrera S

CPR Classic is delighted to offer this 2007 Porsche 997 Carrera S Coupe finished in Lapis Blue over a Stone Gray leather interior. This example has had just two owners since new and retains all original paint with extensive maintenance carried out by primarily Porsche dealerships since new.

This example was delivered new at Beverly Hills Porsche to its first owner. The first owner relocated to Illinois in 2009 and the car made the move with him. The car remained with the first owner until 2011 being regularly serviced by Porsche Exchange in Highland Park, Illinois. In January 2011, the car was traded into a Bentley dealership showing just 11,000 original miles. The car was quickly sold to its second and most recent owner in 2011, residing in Champaign, Illinois.

From 2011 to 2018 the car was maintained by Ricks Automotive of Champaign carrying out all annual and major service intervals. In 2018 showing 26,000 miles, the second owner moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, and took the Carrera S with him. The car was then exclusively serviced by Porsche of Wilmington for the next 6 years before being acquired by CPR Classic.

Upon arrival at CPR, the car was found to be in excellent mechanical condition. CPR carried out a thorough detail and paint correction to remove light swirls and surface scratches in the paint. The original paint now presents in excellent condition throughout. The factory original “shark fin” rock guards were removed due to yellowing, and a new factory set will be installed.

This example remains completely stock outside of one modification. The car has a Fab Speed carbon fiber intake installed that has been on the car for years. It adds nominal horsepower and provides a wonderful induction tone while driving.

A very nicely specified example in a seldom-seen color combination, this 997 provides the perfect platform for an entry-level Porsche 911, or as an addition to any collection for fun and spirited driving. The Porsche 997 is, in our opinion, the very last semblance of the analog 911. A hydraulic steering rack, a small footprint, and low curb weight make the 997 such a lovely car from all standpoints.
