964 RS America

CPR Classic is delighted to offer this lovely 1993 Porsche 964 RS America finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over a black interior. One of only 701 RS Americas produced and one of just 48 in Midnight Blue, this RS America presents today in concours grade condition throughout with just 23,000 original miles.

Number 373 of 701 cars produced, this RS America completed production in September of 1992 and was sent to Porsche of Five Towns in Inwood New York where it was sold new. The car's first owner was a New Jersey resident where the car remained until 2000. In 2000 the original owner moved to Massachusetts and took the RS America with him. The car remained with the first owner in Massachusetts until 2017, covering 21,000 miles in Total. The second owner resided in North Carolina and owned the car until 2020. Annual services were carried out by Paramount Porsche during this ownership and the car was only driven approximately 800 miles over these 3 years.

In 2022 at 23,100 miles, a multitude of service work was performed including all air filters and cabin filters, brake rotors, pads, and sensors, and a brand new set of Michelin Pilot 4S tires were installed.

This example is completely leak and rust-free. The undercarriage has factory cosmoline throughout and it is evident that the car has been cared for to an extremely high level throughout its life. The exterior paint received a full paint correction and was fully ceramic coated in the past year which offers added protection and adds a wonderful level of depth to the paint.

This RS America is optioned with a factory sunroof and factory limited slip differential. The interior is in immaculate original condition with no stretching, abrasions, or stains. There is a slight wrinkle in the car's tachometer face, a common issue seen on 964s.

This example has spent the past couple of years living with a client in Sunset Cliffs San Diego, and was used primarily as a weekend driver to attend cars and coffee events.

RS Americas have seen a considerable rise in values over the past two years. They are starting to gain the traction they have always deserved within the classic Porsche market and offer an excellent investment-grade opportunity today.
